Evans High School Principal Jenny Gibson-Linkh receives high praise for her ability to connect with students in today’s Orlando Sentinel.
In a front-page story, staff writer Lauren Roth reports on the importance Gibson-Linkh places on connecting students “to something, somehow, somewhere” … even if it means to her.
In addition, the author cites the principal’s great support of Evans Community School: “Gibson-Linhk has overseen a massive expansion in the role of Evans Community School, which provides health care, counseling, tutoring and enrichment for students and community members during extended hours.”
Pine Hills neighborhood leader Jerry Presley says of Gibson-Link, “She’s really done a fantastic job at Evans High School to truly transform that community.”
